Vikette cross country 10th at Raider InvitationalWILLIAMSBURG - The Vinton-Shellsburg Vikette cross country team competed in their first cross country meet since Oct. 21, 2020 at the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union Class 3A Cross Country Girls State Qualifying Meet at Wartburg College (Waverly-Shell Rock) in Waverly.Vikette senior Charlee Johnson finished with a time of 24:34,9 to finish 36th in the overall standings. Junior Aspen Ahrenholz ran in first varsity competition since Sept. 24, 2019 at the 2019 Vinton-Shellsburg Invitational and ran a 28:32.5 for 72nd in the overall standings. Freshman Olivia Primrose ran a 24:57.5 for 46th in the overall standings. Kalley Kerkman ran a 25:00.0 for 47th in the overall standings, Molly Haisman was 50th in the overall standings, running a 25:06.6, Annabelle Newton was 75th in the overall standings, running a 29:03.9, and Bailey Weeks was 78th in the overall standings, running a 30:07.5.The Vikettes finished 10th in the standings as a team.ReplyForward
