Living a Healthy Life with Chronic ConditionsFree 6-Week Community Workshop
Virginia Gay Hospital is excited to offer a free pilot course designed to help individuals living with ongoing health conditions better manage their health and improve their quality of life.
Course DatesTuesdays, September 1–October 6, 2026
9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.Virginia Gay Hospital Clinic Conference Room
This is a six-week program, and participants are expected to attend all six sessions.
Who Can Participate?
The course is open to community members living with chronic health conditions.
- Minimum of 8 participants required
- Maximum of 10 participants
- Participants must be able to attend all six weekly sessions
- Virginia Gay Hospital employees are not eligible to participate in this pilot course
- Each participant may invite one guest to accompany them
This interactive workshop provides practical tools and support to help participants:
- Manage symptoms and daily challenges
- Improve communication with healthcare providers
- Make healthier lifestyle choices
- Set personal goals
- Problem-solve challenges
- Build confidence in managing chronic conditions
There is no cost to attend this pilot course. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
