Health and Fitness Urgent Need for Blood Donations TODAY!

LifeServe Blood Center has an urgent need for the community's support. We need blood donors at the Benton County Public Health Blood Drive tomorrow 7/23/26. We’ll be at the Vinton Skate and Activities Center from 1:30 pm – 5:30 pm.

We are currently experiencing a critical drop in blood donations. During the summer months often referred to as “trauma season” the demand for blood is rapidly increasing. At the same time, we have seen donations to LifeServe significantly decline in recent weeks and months, putting the local blood supply at risk for the 170+ hospitals we serve.

LifeServe Blood Center is the sole supplier of blood products to Virginia Gay Hospital and St. Lukes, Cedar Rapids, just to name a few. Hospital patients cannot wait. Blood donations made to other organizations do not replenish the supply at your hospital. Strengthen your community by supporting local and donating with LifeServe Blood Center.
