Each year, the Garrison Fire Department has some scary support from an event held around Halloween. Garrisons Haunted has been holding its annual spooky event to raise money for the department. 

This year, the Garrison Emergency Services was able to purchase new bunker gear for all members of the department. Garrison Haunted extended a thank you to everyone who supports their continued fundraising efforts and to the county via the Benton County Supervisors for their contribution in helping the department.

Garrison Fire Department, like each small-town department across the county, serves the community of Garrison and assists with other emergencies as they are needed. Community support is vital to the volunteers. Each fundraiser helps with essential training and with the required supplies and equipment to answer any call that arises.

Be sure to mark your calendars for Garrisons Haunted event on October 16-17, 23-24, and the 31st from 7-11:00 p.m. You can find it on Main Street in Garrison. The cost is $15 each (and of course you can feel free to leave a little extra if you'd like to help the department a little bit more!)
