Post 57 Auxiliary member Evelene Neuendorf sells poppies at Thiesen's Thursday morning, May 13.
The George G. Luckey Post 57 American Legion Auxiliary of Vinton members are handing out poppies and accepting cash donations today at Vinton locations, including Theisen's and Fareway.
The flowers are made by residents of the VA facility in Marshalltown. Proceeds go towards programs for veterans.
