Get ready to raise a stein and celebrate! VintoberFest, a brand-new community festival inspired by traditional Oktoberfests and Germanfests, is coming to downtown Vinton on Saturday, October 10, from 4:00–8:00 p.m.

Fourth Street will be filled with the sounds of live polka music, German food, dancing and plenty of good times. Headlining the celebration will be the Guttenberg German Band, bringing authentic polka music and the lively spirit of a traditional German festival to Vinton.

Guests can enjoy the beer tent, German food, polka dancing, Hammerschlagen and Masskrugstemmen, the classic stein-holding contest, along with other games and activities throughout the evening. Whether you come ready to dance, compete, eat, drink or simply enjoy the atmosphere, there will be something for everyone.

VintoberFest is a family-friendly event, making it a great night out for all ages. Admission is $10 at the gate, with children 10 and under admitted free. Bring the whole family, invite your friends and come enjoy a little German fun right here in downtown Vinton!

VintoberFest is a new addition to Vinton’s community calendar and is designed to bring people together for a fun evening in the heart of downtown. Grab your friends, dust off your dancing shoes and come celebrate German-style!

The festival is made possible through the generous support of local sponsors. Presenting sponsor at the König (King) Level: Farmers Savings Bank.
