Mounted on the side of a home in Vinton is a Clamshell to house the iVinton fiber

Crews were out working on the west side of town yesterday, installing conduit (the orange tubing that will hold the fiber) and hooking up a home on the corner of F Ave. and 9th St.

The "Clamshell" can be seen mounted on the side of the home that is used to house the ends of the fiber once it is run to the home.

Be sure to call iVinton to schedule a site survey if you haven't yet.

Internet access is just like electric and water for most, so be sure to add the ability to have fiber run to your house. If you don't want it, the next occupant of your home will.

It's hard to believe that it can affect the resale price of your home, but like all other utilities, without it, well, you're stuck with dial-up or some other service that won't be as good as iVinton.
