Events and Activities : Barn Dance Benefit Saturday, July 26th

We're opening our BARN-and our HEARTS-to help one of our own. A Barn Dance Benefit will be held for Mitch Kacena on Saturday, July 26th. Doors will be open at 6:00 p.m.

On June 1st, our son, Mitch Kacena was involved in a terrible accident while helping a friend take down an old radio tower. The tower unexpectedly collapsed with Mitch harnessed to the top, causing him to fall 56 feet!

Miraculously, he survived by landing on his feet and rolling to lessen the impact. Though he suffered two severely broken feet, doctors at the U of I Hospital were astonished that his injuries weren't worse.

Mitch, is not only part of the family business-Kacena Farms and Kacena Catering-but he also works as a professional tree climber. As you can imagine, Mitch is now unable to work while he begins a long road to recovery.

AND SO - we decided to host a Barn Dance/Line Dance fundraiser to support Mitch and his wife, Makayla!

The entry fee is a Freewill donation. There will be food by Kacena Catering, a Nacho & Taco Bar, a Cash Bar will be open. 100% of the proceeds from the event will go to Mitch's recovery. Let's come together as a community and show Mitch and Makayla the love and support they need right now.

Music will be provided by Tyler Sean Entertainment. Get ready to line dance and groove all night!
