Events and Activities : LaPorte City Christmas Tour of Homes

Sunday from 4-7 p.m. come to La Porte City to tour four homes beautifully decorated for Christmas. The VGM home north of La Porte City is a grand home opened to the public for this tour.
You are greeted by holiday tunes as you pull into Christmas in the country at Gary & Sherry Sheffler's home. This newly remodeled home is festively decorated throughout.
As you head to the south side of La Porte City you will be the guests of the Meyer family. As you enter their home notice the beautifully unique lighting in the dining room reflected in the elegant window wall. Danielle has done a lovely job decorating her home to share with her family & the public for this Christmas. Finally, head to Strubel's in the Sweet's Addition to see their gaily decorated spacious condo. Kathy's decorating is a real joy to behold. Find out where she "hides" the grandkids presents in plain sight. Visit the homes in any order. Tickets sell for six dollars at any of the homes. The tour is sponsored by the La Porte City Women's Club. The money raised is given to community projects & organizations.
