The EAA Young Eagles event will be held at the airport on June 8, from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
"Young Eagles is a program through the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) through which kids ages 8-17 are given free rides in aircraft our own aircraft to introduce them to general aviation and flying. Since 1993 EAA has flown over 2 million kids worldwide. June 8th also happens to be International Young Eagles Day so this will be one of countless Young Eagle rally's around the world," said Justin Cook, President of EAA Chapter 33.
If you would like your kids to have a ride in the planes, a parent or guardian of the children need to bring the children to the airport, and you will need to sign a waiver.
"Other than that the only rule is they have to have fun!" said Cook.
