Basically, if you like scary, you've seen It, and you'll like It Chapter Two. Maybe you're one of our patrons who requested the movie. Maybe you've read the Stephen King 1,200-page novel these movies are based one.

King is the King, for sure.

I recently began collecting and reading Stephen King. I guess I'm finally old enough. I read my first one, The Stand, in high school, and did not revisit his prose for years and years. Too disturbing.

I decided to give King another try after appreciating his Entertainment Weekly columns when I first began managing at the Palace, in 2006. I can't handle a steady diet, for obvious reasons, but have enjoyed dissecting his horror, fantasy, and psychological thrillers a few times a year, daytime reading only.
